Kah Jen obtained his B.Sc in Applied Physics from the City University of Hong Kong in 2020 and M.Sc in Applied Physics from the Delft University of Technology in 2022 with specialisation in quantum computing. His previous works involve high performance numerical simulations in C++, theoretical analysis on quantum repeater networks in a realistic setting, and exploring novel methods in fault tolerant quantum error correction.

At QoveLab, he is working on making optical quantum memories at telecom C-band wavelengths via fabricating heterogeneously integrated photonic chips.

In his free time, he enjoys bouldering, cycling, hiking, photography, programming and blogging on his personal website.
